Oh, hello friend! It has been a minute, hasn’t it? I hope you’re having a wonderful summer and if you’re in that back-to-school mode then I am sending you good vibes! I’ve been running around the state of Florida like a crazy person: Marco Island, St. Augustine, and Tampa! It’s been a wonderful August so far full of friends, family, and Taylor Swift. I mean, what more could a gal ask for?

Despite all the funness in these short three weeks, there has been a LOT of time in the car, especially as the summer Florida storms start just riiiiiiiight as I get ready to head home after work. What is normally a thirty-minute drive becomes over an hour…yes, Los Angeles traffic Orlando is coming for ya! Most often while driving, I am listening to podcasts because girls gotta keep up for the show! However, you know I have to mix it up and there’s nothing better than cruising down the highway belting out your favorite song, interpretive dance and all. I think that as I get older the less I care about what people think as they give me the side-eye at traffic lights. Bro, this is my jam and it MUST be performed at an 11.

I love discovering new music and honestly, if you are not on Spotify I can not recommend an app in this world more. I love it more than I love Instagram and I most certainly love it more than Facebook. P.S. Am I alone? Is Facebook kind of the worst these days? I find I can go a full 24-hours without logging on…oh my god, I’m an adult. Sorry, I digress! Anyway, get your butt a Spotify account, it’s less than $10 a month for all the music in the world and it’s especially great for curated playlists by yours truly.

So what I’m saying is that it’s been a few months since I provided you a playlist and for that, I’m sorry. However, these are the jams that I’ve been listening to as of late as I tool around Florida, sit in traffic and even dance around in my bedroom. There’s nothing better for your soul than a dance sesh to a cover of an ultimate 80s classic song. There’s just something about this playlist right now that has me happy to my core. It’s all about finding new music, new bands, and new songs. But for me, there’s nothing better than when a favorite band of mine puts out a banger of a song and my love for them grows!

I hope that you enjoy my Drive Time Jams because I am really feeling them…and no worries, I passed this playlist by my music BFF, Ashleigh, during a 30-hour adventure in Marco Island and she gave it her seal of approval, and guys?
